Report Card: Mid-Season (Round 11) - by Dave68

Not the best skills in the world but has cemented a role in the team. Great games against Richmond, Geelong and West Coast and has a great frame. Will be important against Brisbane if they try to test us out physically. Since his recall against Richmond, has never looked back and has proved to be a valuable player in defence. He and Morrison have added a bit more oomph to our side.

Fan Files: Player Profile: by Johnson#26

2005:
Swan’s season took a turn for the worse, when he was dropped from the senior side in round --- prior to being recalled to the seniors in the round 22 loss to Carlton. Swan was in the centre off an off field controversy with VFL footballers Kade Carey and Aaron Ramsey at the seasons end.

2004:
After being picked up late in the 2001 National Draft, Swan spent the whole of the 2002 season at Williamstown, gaining valuable experience.
2003 was much of the same for Swan, who broke through for three games midway through the year.
2004 was a real break through season for Swan, who played his first game against Brisbane in round three and never looked back. His composure and skill were valuable assets to the Pies defence as he cemented his place in the side. After a good showing against Carlton in round seven, Swan had a quiet patch midway through the year and was dropped for round 10.
