Wow has this kid burst onto the scenes. He has pace, a bit of flare and the ability to win the ball. His long legs make him look like a dancer out there as he prances around the field. Has yet to show off his good skills but they should slowly emerge. Has to develop a defensive side to his game. Carlton passed on picking up Egan as they considered him to be inconsistent. This may pan out to be true, but Egan’s talent is worth persisting with. He will be a match winner. Even if he does have a few bad games, the good games will be enough to bring Collingwood to finals. Has secured a place in the team already in my opinion and will make it hard for Davis to come into the team. Has added another dimension to our midfield, forward line. Good start to a big career we hope.
