Stringy Bark restaurant at the Wanneroo Tavern. Had a chicken wellington for the first time and it was scrumbolicious! _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

My Aunty cooked me kimchi pancakes for lunch. Hmm, hot and spicy pancakes. Hmm, interesting. Could it be the swan fan in her not liking my take off of a war dance? _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Probably no surprise to Stui , but best steak place going is Charcoal Grill on the Hill in Kew.
http://grillonthehill.com.au/
Known to regulars as The Grill. Eat whatever the chef recommends, wine is sensational. Chips are awesome. Pure magnificence. |

I'm so going to get there one day.
I took the brood to Ribs and Rumps at Norfland for my Birfday. They do a pretty good steak and bloody good ribs, I'd put them a tier below the meat and wine co for quality. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

The daughter and her BF decided to get some take away from a joint called Bobos Diner in Ivanhoe.
American themed joint, I asked for a burger and 6 "fire wings". The wings came with a warning on the menu that they were hot. Yeah yeah, heard THAT before.
Oh wow. Yep, that is hot.
I got though 3 of them and was copping some comments from the SIL about the tears rolling down my cheeks while I was eating, so I offered them a bit of one of the mini drumstick pieces. Daughter went first. The lick of the sauce off the fingers gave her the warning but she went in anyway and took a bite. One bite, done.
SIL took over the drumstick from the daughter and took a bite. One bite, done.
Both of them in pain for at least the next 10 minutes.
If you're near Ivanhoe and you reckon you have a good tolerance for Chilli, get into Bobo's and get the fire wings.
The burger was nice, tasty without being special _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I have a market near my street full of Thai hawker food and some of it gets bloody hot. For a change 4 or 5 of us head off looking for a Sunday roast once a month. 5 bucks for roast pork with all the trimmings is about the right place. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |

Huxtaburger!
Kind of a lesser version of Grill'd, for more or less the same price. But they had Pimm's and ginger ale, so all was forgiven. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I think so, yeah.
Kind of agree, JW. I wasn't that excited. Grill'd is still the best of the burger chains by far (though I also have a soft spot for KFC zinger burgers...) _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

You must be in my nick of the woods. Had a decent burger there & my youngest when she was a meat eater loved it.
