Ringwood RSL just sounds wrong.

To close to Ringwood ARSEL or perhaps Ringwood RSOLE.

Stringy Bark restaurant at the Wanneroo Tavern. Had a chicken wellington for the first time and it was scrumbolicious!

My Aunty cooked me kimchi pancakes for lunch. Hmm, hot and spicy pancakes. Hmm, interesting. Could it be the swan fan in her not liking my take off of a war dance?

Probably no surprise to Stui Wink , but best steak place going is Charcoal Grill on the Hill in Kew.

http://grillonthehill.com.au/

Known to regulars as The Grill. Eat whatever the chef recommends, wine is sensational. Chips are awesome. Pure magnificence.

I'm so going to get there one day.

I took the brood to Ribs and Rumps at Norfland for my Birfday. They do a pretty good steak and bloody good ribs, I'd put them a tier below the meat and wine co for quality.

The daughter and her BF decided to get some take away from a joint called Bobos Diner in Ivanhoe.

American themed joint, I asked for a burger and 6 "fire wings". The wings came with a warning on the menu that they were hot. Yeah yeah, heard THAT before. Rolling Eyes

Oh wow. Shocked Yep, that is hot. Shocked

I got though 3 of them and was copping some comments from the SIL about the tears rolling down my cheeks while I was eating, so I offered them a bit of one of the mini drumstick pieces. Daughter went first. The lick of the sauce off the fingers gave her the warning but she went in anyway and took a bite. One bite, done.

SIL took over the drumstick from the daughter and took a bite. One bite, done.

Both of them in pain for at least the next 10 minutes.

If you're near Ivanhoe and you reckon you have a good tolerance for Chilli, get into Bobo's and get the fire wings.

The burger was nice, tasty without being special

I have a market near my street full of Thai hawker food and some of it gets bloody hot. For a change 4 or 5 of us head off looking for a Sunday roast once a month. 5 bucks for roast pork with all the trimmings is about the right place.

Huxtaburger!

Kind of a lesser version of Grill'd, for more or less the same price. But they had Pimm's and ginger ale, so all was forgiven. Smile

crap, overrated burger. never understood why it is rated so highly.

one of the best burger joints in melbourne is ziggy's in balaclava.

I think so, yeah.

Kind of agree, JW. I wasn't that excited. Grill'd is still the best of the burger chains by far (though I also have a soft spot for KFC zinger burgers...)

You must be in my nick of the woods. Had a decent burger there & my youngest when she was a meat eater loved it.

If you're in the city I'm told this place is pretty good:

Burger Boys

http://www.burgerboys.com.au

525 Little Lonsdale Street City (It's a pop up in a bar) Near Williams Street near Flagstaff station.
