Oh May had it allright, a particularly nasty and salty dose of MAGPIE FLAG SALTY ITIS, known to affect whingeing bad sore losers, like his fuckwitflog Coach. Did flog May mention the fact, that THEY LOST THE FOLLOWING WEEK TO BLUES TOO, AND HAVE GONE OUT IN STRIGHT SETS, TWO YRS IN A ROW. ?????

Who would have thought a captain who leaves their building club for an easier ride would turn our to be a flog?
Poorly lead club. Got their flag and rested right on those laurels.
Coach is a sook.
Its astounding that people forget Pies were 27 up and went into "Don't lose mode". How do people not realise this is how the pies play? Flicked that switch 3 times in 3 finals. In the Granny they kicked one and we flicked the switch the other way and went bang bang. Astounding.

Melbourne are very good at this.
Just think back to the all duck and no dinner comment from Langdon on the eve of KB match last year.

On Dawson's comments, I can buy that Adelaide deserved a finals spot, but suggesting anything more than that is getting way ahead of themselves: the fact is that they won 11 games and lost 12. Many of the latter were close, but being able to win those close games is ultimately the reason we're premiers and they're not (and also why we're better than them). And Melbourne simply weren't good enough when it counted, not just against us but against Carlton too.
Anyway, players from both teams can say what they like to pump themselves up for next year. They'll get the chance again to see if they're good enough. As Maynard said before the Port game, if they're playing us, they'll need to bring their best – and that, unlike these woulda/coulda/shoulda statements, was based on actual results.
