In 50 years, thats how he'll be remembered...not for the average player he has been for all his other years at Sydne |
Premiership player yes...but he will still be remembered as an average player.
Can you tell me all the average players who've won premierships? I can't. You know why? Because they're average. No difference between Nick Davis and some random who played in a premiership side in the 1900s. |

KFC Cronulla have expressed the most interest in acquiring his services.

lol, in all fairness, Davis was a fantastic player at times, and yes, it was pretty much his individual brilliance that won that semi-final for them. I often think we missed his presence in the team once he left, but that's life I suppose. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

a few years ago while i was doing stand by props for neighbours we used victoria park and some of the list as extras for some 'draft' scenes.
i spent quite a bit of time with our boys.
nick davis was there...generally bored and more interested in getting his head on the screen...
bad attitude...
not at collingwood thanks...
not even for a couple of stale vegemite sangers and an apple.
i can speak glowingly of cheesy o'bree from that time...
great attitude and was a good representative of our club.
if davis had half of what o'bree has in terms of effort etc i'd think about it. _________________ collingwood tech boy |

Yes, it's players like O'Bree, the ones who do the hard work, often going under the radar but never minding, always doing their bit, I'm a big rap for them.
They're team players.
Sulky pusses like Nick Davis ain't worth a crumpet ~ the Premiership medallion flatters him. _________________ Side by side we Stick together |

Dont you people who have posted nasty comments remember the impact some comments on fan forums have on people?
REMINDER: Depression and Suicidal thoughts
If you dont think a player with the talent (geinus-like skills) of Nick Davis could possibly fall into this boat - then have a good hard think about the possibility.
Nick Davis's father was a grand representative of this football club and i saw Nick Davis play some super games for us trying his guts out in a way that reminds me of Daisy. Collingwood wanted to keep him, he wanted to be with his family.
He then went on to be the with-NO-doubt single most important player in his club breaking a how many year premiership drought.
If Roosy wants to pi** him off - id love for us to investigate the chance to get him back in Trent Croad fashion. Imagine a fit and healthy and happy Nick Davis finishing his career off with us and helping us win a flag. I'm struggling to think of anything that would be more rewarding for our football club.
I admit there is some risk of embarassment for the club. But are we brave and confident enough as a club to help him. Some of you same people want Ben Cousins id imagine.
Jeebers bulid a freakin bridge.

If Nick Davis is suffering with Depression, having suicidal thoughts, then his family/friends/Club can support him through this.
There are excellent community-based services available, and I'd imagine, on his sort of income, he could be treated by fully qualified private practitioners, no waiting period, no need to suffer a moment longer.
Nick Davis was a liar when at Collingwood.
He did the dirty on us.
And IMO doesn't deserve our respect. _________________ Side by side we Stick together |
