Another wrestler dead
August 14, 2007
FORMER pro-wrestling star Brian Adams aka Crush has died after he was found in bed by his wife unconscious and not breathing.
According to the police incident report now published on the internet, Adams's wife called 911 but rescue officers were unable to revive the wrestler.
His death, which comes only months after that of wrestler Chris Benoit, is being treated as suspicious. Police said there were no visible injuries.
Adams debuted in WWE in 1990, joining Ax and Smash as the third member of the legendary tag team, Demolition. The Hawaiian native was a two time WCW World Tag Team Champion as well as a one time holder of both the WWF World Tag Team Championship and the All Japan Pro Wrestling World Tag Team Championship.

vince has more to worry about then his angles, he's currently under investigation after the whole Benoit thing and with this death the noose could be getting tighter if this was another death from drug abuse as "Crush" spent most of his early career in the WWE before leaving in 1996 for WCW as apart of the nWo angle. _________________ Ðavâgé

There's an article on Dave Batista in todays Herald Sun in the entertainment bit. He says about how they're drug tested now and he's totally against drugs.
They have a photo of him and say he's 41 years old, 196cm and 144kg.

I doubt it. |

Please. Batista's physique was not naturally obtained. _________________ "There's an old saying in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee, that says, fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Fool me... you can't get fooled again." - Oscar Wilde |

Hey Dark Lord, I just reported what I said.
I couldn't look like that spending 10 hours in the Gym per day WITH steroids.
If he got that way without some {ahem} assistance, I'd love to know what his training program was. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Apologies, stui. The rolly-eyes and the "Please" was directed at Batista, not you. _________________ "There's an old saying in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee, that says, fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Fool me... you can't get fooled again." - Oscar Wilde |

Would the world really miss coked up singers, crackhead actress'? Seems it's funny that there is more people trying to take shots at wrestling over drugs, yet there is drugs in almost every industry. _________________ Ðavâgé

That's what really pisses me off about the US Congress investigating WWE and TNA. They freely admit that it's not a competitive sport, they're not required to drug test. They are in the entertainment business. Are the producers of Desperate Housewives going to drug test their actors? No. So the mere fact that the WWE has a Wellness Program is a credit to them.
In any case, to suggest that the Chris Benoit situation is steroid-related is farcical to the extreme. _________________ "There's an old saying in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee, that says, fool me once, shame on... shame on you. And it was the reason that wrestling was declared sports entertainment to escape any of this back when the first steroid trial was under way in 1994. Not trying to condone drug use in wrestling but it seems if these guys were actors no one would really give a shit.
I liked Storms article to Marc Mero (who was called Mike Mero by an American TV host who was slamming wrestling.) some of the people slamming wrestling have no idea about what they are talking about anyway. Drugs are an issue, but they are in a lot of other things to, I think the problem needs to be fixed everywhere without each of these copping the shit they do. _________________ Ðavâgé
