Post subject: Why 3 home games at Tossoff Stadium? | |
|
Can anybody tell me why this is so?
It smells of a money grab by the powers that be, because they know it will be a sellout.

Because no team gets 11 home games where they want them.....unless your an interstate side of course and you don't have a variety of grounds for the AFL to throw you into against your best wishes.

I don't mind Tossoff Stadium, to be quite honest. I used to call it Colonoscopy Stadium because it was basically a television studio. There were enough cameras in the place to put one up each player's arse.
But it's become my favourite ground. You get a great atmosphere there with the roof shut.
It will be especially appreciated this coming season with the M.C.G. looking like Ground Zero.

Good points made by all. My favourite part about Colonial is that on Level 1 being metal you can stomp your feet and make a lot of noise and when we're on a roll it gets loud!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys and girl are all funny,
So it all hinges on the simple dunny,
The problem there is it isn`t sunny,
And also, it costs extra $munny.
Thanks for enlightening me with your very amusing comments.
Like the idea of making a racket on the floor, kinder reminds me of beating the s*** outa the back wall at Vic Park in my younger days.
Can`t wait for footy again.
Collingwood is life.
