haha! I get it!
You see, when faced with an argument, what this witty fellow does is quotes something the poster has written in the past! Comedy gold! You should do stand-up.
Oh, and get a life while you're at it. |
Have to disagree with you on this one young David. I thought M24 said more with that little post than an entire essay could convey. _________________ Genesis 1:1 |

Nuxta I actually almost agree with the point he was trying to make. It's more that he's used the same tactic with me on a couple of occasions, and it just seems like an exercise in intimidation or something.
M24 I enjoy reading some of the threads in the chicks channel and so far there has been no objection whatsoever to my posting there. So what is your point? _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

I bear no ill feelings towards her whatsoever, and anyone who does must be a bitter person indeed. However, it is gross exploitation by the TV networks, to an almst laughable degree. |
I completely agree with you, no one should tragedies be exploited like they are, wit the Miners the networks were falling all over themselves to try and offer a deal for them.
But Eddie managed to be there at the right place at the right time to secure the deal. Seems funny that the victims in the stories are always the ones that are easily bagged for taking the offerings. _________________ Ðavâgé

I think there are two reasons why people get angry at the victims.
A) there's a sense of cynicism, and the anger is simply misplaced, when it should be directed at the TV companies instead of the actual people.
B) straight out jealousy
I think there is a lot that is wrong with this kind of thing, but it is not at all the fault of the victims. Indeed I hope they get heaps of money, even though it will never make their tragedy any less so. I really do feel for Trisha Broadbridge especially, imagine losing your husband on your honeymoon. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Also that bad feeling she would have that she survived and he didn't, that would also play on her mind as well. As if the loss of her husband on the hooneyman wasn't bad enough she had to wait and not know for weeks if he was alive or dead.
The miners one was a hard one in the end as the mine has no certain future now, some may feel stiffed a bit that Webb and Russell got money and exposure out of it and they got nothing and they lost their jobs.
Though in the end it's neithers fault in the end. _________________ Ðavâgé
