The thought of that is demoralizing. _________________ Kaylene.

Well if it was out of that and starving to death I'd eat it. i know it sounds sick but you've got to do what you've got to do to survive. |

Label it dog food, its a nasty thought morally etc.....However, just listing the ingredients and changing the vitamins etc as suggested ?????????. Probably no worse than the muck we eat at fast foods etc. Probably even better for you nutritionally. As T-man says faced with starvation, you do what you have to do to survive! _________________ Enjoy yourself. Its later than you think! |

just dies laffin...it is rather funny though isn't it? The story sort of sounds strange...
BUT
I do agree, if they change the vitamins etc then why not? This is really weird because I forgot to get milk tonight, i was just saying to my mum...do you think cat milk would be ok in Tea? (i WAS joking) but i did get it out and have a look at the ingredients...not much different to normal full cream milk...just not as many nutrients in it that we drink...so really...
if i was looking at starvations...some boneo's or schmacko's would go down well i'd say _________________ "whaaa whaaaaaa! |

I assume the lady talking it up has obviously tried the food herself?
I think its kind of insulting.
Can you imagine the outcry if prisoners were fed that? Thats the joke of our society that we live in.

Cat milk???? ....can you buy it?.Why that would be purrrrrrfect!
Seriously, or do you mean straight from the bowl?
As for lip smacking smackos, probably no different than the beef jerky we ate in the army!
...now I'm off to milk the cat.Just gotta find the little nipples and a little pale. _________________ Enjoy yourself. Its later than you think! |

Ska - cat milk - but you can get nice little expensive purple carton of milk for cats - Bucksy the kitten just luvs it
On a serious note though you would be surprised at the number of older folk who present with assorted nutritional deficits or ailments as their diet includes cat/dog food - why?- cause it's more affordable
And as someone else said - when you are hungry - well - I suppose you do what you gotta do - as morally unpalatable as it may be! |

Do not give cats cows milk, they are lactose intolerant and you will give them diarrhea.
Thats why there is cats milk. |

well I'm sure the kenyan dude is offended, but maybe his starving subjects wouldn't have been. Yeah it sounds disgusting but if I was starving to death I'd probably eat anything. And the point about fast food is right too, dogfood is probably better for us than cheeseburger _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Well in Australia we currently sell enough Dog food to feed every Dog in Australia 3 cans/day so someone is already eating it, plus if it was good enough for mad max it is certainly good enough for the Kenyans!!
