It was a great win, a terrific three quarters, but I was particularly pleased at how we played.
Our midfield was sensational, our forwards stood up and, while being a little wasteful early, were accountable. The young brigade really showed Adelaide how to play their own style of football.
At the end of the day, it's hard to beat a team that controlls the midfield and kicks to leading forwards, even harder when the leading forwards are complimented by the mosquitoe squad we've got, and that style of football will set us in good stead.
Brisbane rely too much on their midfield kicking goals, it just so happens they are incredibly good at it! I think that forwards are there to kick the goals, and with Rocca, Fraser and Tarrant in sparkling form, all we have to do it get the ball to them.
It's a great style of play, and a sight to behold when it's played well.
Now we just need to finish it off by burying teams when we're on top of them, and we will be the most feared team in the competition.
Good to see Bucks making an imprint on this game also, undoubtably BOG according to the radio.
