The one thing that bugged me alot - how does super-swiss-knife-rocket-powered artoo become a remote controlled Port Adelaide wheeliebin with a couple of gadget arms? _________________ Get back on top. |

Loved it to, but just how dumb are these allegedly free thinking Jedis. My four-year-old nephew took one look at Palpatine in Episode 1 and said "he's a bad man"! |

Yes. He's nearly a bigger turd than Demetriou. Although Palpatine has some good in him.

It was a great movie!! I too thought the "turning" of Anakin was a bit easy really - and why didn't Obi-Wan just finish Darth off???
I wonder what would episode IV have been like without Darth Vader??? hmmmm |

I guess Obi-Wan thought he had done enough and couldn't bring himself to finish off Anakin, thinking that the lava would do that... but yeah it was pretty crappy the scene where anakin joins the dark side, it had been building up for all of episodes 2 and 3 and then he goes bad just like that. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Back in Jedi training, padawans learn that good jedi fight "only ever in self defence, never in attack" - Yoda. Obi-Wan didn't finish him off because that would be attacking without cause. He had already won. Also factor in that he had a close bond with Anakin and wouldn't have wanted to kill him. _________________ My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die.

Obi-Wan would probably be feeling a bit silly by episode IV _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

I reckon about as regretful as Rocca after the 2003 Port Adelaide prelim final.
And as regretful as Collingwood after their bungling of Pavlich/Roach in 2000 draft.
