In answer to your question YES the Swans game will be telecast at 6:00pm which is 2 hours after the damestarts, but it will be uninterupted, which means I guess NO ADS.
Also in the Sun Herald Television guide tells us that next Saturday from 12:30pm til5:30pm AFL will be shown.
Would you believe that the Ch 10 commentators are Anthony Hudson (thought that we had got rid of him),our own Peter Daicos and Stephen Silvagni to cover the Geelong V Richmond and also Stephen Quartermain,Michael Christian and Robert Walls to cover Carlton V West Coast
At least Ch10 have got a COUPLE of good commentators

The Collingwood-Sydney game will not be on free to air tv from what I understand. However it will be shown live on Foxtel from 12 midday on Sunday.

If you don't have Foxtel, but want to watch the game live, you might want to know that...
I received a letter from the club earlier today stating that the game will be shown on the big screen at The International - 471 Maroondah Hwy, Lilydale. Buffet Lunch is $15 per person with Anthony Rocca and Damien Monkhorst in attendance. For bookings phone 9735 0555.

Looks like a good test for the "new" BB. As there seems to be no free to air or radio of this match, would someone with access to Foxtel jump into the chat room to keep us poor bastards informed?
Please anyone???

If I heard it right, they just said on the radio that the Fox Footy channel is still available to all Foxtel subscribers until the 20th of this month. Great news if you have Foxtel, means you'll be able to watch the Pies match on Sunday for free!

Anyone know what's going on with Austar and the footy channel... can't manage to get Foxtel down here in Hobart. Actually, even if Austar does have it I still can't get it at home due to some whopping great big trees in the way of the antenna thingy.
Might have to watch it down at the casino... but I'm guessing I'm out of luck. Anyone know?

we've considered poinsoning a tree or two (they're a bit big to cut down)... they're massive and they're situated on a really posh arse street, the trees probably add an extra $10k to the proerty value on that road.
They have some stupid rule in our suburb that only allows a maximum 1.5? metre high aerial.
We've had the Austar guy on the roof of our house a few times, hoping that we'll get a guy who is just that little bit taller than the last, tall enough to see the tower. Never works though.
We're considering bribing the next one with beer to put a slightly higher aerial up, but it's all useless unless if Austar doesn't have the footy channel anyhow.

I've gotta play cricket... can you record your text updates in powerpoint or something like that so I can reveal the game line by line?
OK... I'm really pumped for this season and am pissed that I've gotta miss the first game.
