Given Tasmania will be part of the competition in 2028, then the 2027 draft will be their first.

Roll back to when the most recent entrant to the AFL in GWS entered the competition and their 2010 Underage Selection, NSW Zone Selection and Rookie Draft (Advance) selection, Uncontracted Signings and Concessional Selections.
https://www.draftguru.com.au/clubs/greater-western-sydney

They then went into the 2011 National Draft first round picks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14.
2012 National Draft first round picks 1, 2, 3, 12, 14.
2013 National Draft first round picks 1, 2.

Gold Coast it was much the same from 2009~

So, point being from 2027 - only 4 drafts away, Tasmania will be taking the countries best talent as well as getting access to incumbent Club lists.

I hope Wrighty gets well rested over his sojourn, our list management will need to be seamlessly executed over the coming years to ensure we remain competitive through to 2030 and beyond. Our Father / Son development might prove critical once again.
While it's simply a hypothetical, imagine our current list without Moore and the Daicos bros.
I hope he's not lured back to Tassie!

Good point. I'd wonder how long post 60 yrs of age he would be with us anyway.
Slight but possible chance he could go up there in 26 as a consultant for a couple of years.
The AFL will have deep pockets, if it comes to money, sayonara.

KPF please, draft, trade FA, not fussed but we need a genuine one now and another on if he next few years. Been a long time since Travis Cloke was clunking and spraying them.

BTW, don’t recruit Tasmanians. They will all piss off to play for the Devils 😏
