A national reserves competition could potentially become a reality for the AFL

Now what then becomes of the VFL and clubs like Williamstown, Port Melbourne, and Coburg?

Other clubs that are aligned with an AFL team would then have to change their names.

The positive is something weird may happen and we get curtain raisers (Reserves) game before the Seniors. Like wow, that's new (sarcasm).
