Longtime favourite of mine, Mathew Wade Was named Oz Captain for the upcoming 5-match T20 series, against India.

Today, he led Tasmania to a stunning win against Q'land, scoring 105 as Tas. chased down 423 to win.

"Experienced wicketkeeper Matthew Wade has been named captain of Australia for their five-match T20 international series against India.

Meanwhile, Cameron Green, Mitchell Marsh, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood will sit out the November/December series as the Test summer approaches.

Wade comes into the role in the interim, with the Australians yet to find a permanent replacement for Aaron Finch, who retired in February.

He takes over from Mitch Marsh, who captained the side for three matches in South Africa in August."
