Getting in early here, but here's what I've come up with for the rest of the season:
https://predictor.squiggle.com.au/
1 Collingwood 19 4 0 124.5%
2 Brisbane Lions 18 5 0 129.3%
3 Port Adelaide 17 6 0 116.0%
4 Melbourne 16 7 0 132.7%
5 Adelaide 15 8 0 116.9%
6 Western Bulldogs 15 8 0 112.1%
7 Fremantle 15 8 0 110.3%
8 Geelong 14 9 0 118.0%
9 Essendon 13 10 0 105.6%
10 St Kilda 12 11 0 103.0%
11 Gold Coast 10 13 0 95.3%
12 Richmond 8 14 1 97.3%
13 Carlton 8 14 1 92.2%
14 Sydney 7 16 0 94.4%
15 GWS 7 16 0 88.0%
16 Hawthorn 6 17 0 78.3%
17 North Melbourne 4 19 0 69.4%
18 West Coast 2 21 0 56.1%
Interesting that even 14 wins might not guarantee you a top 8 spot (I guess the extra game plays a role there). And our Round 23 clash with Brisbane shapes as a potential battle for top spot – I have us winning that one as it's in Melbourne.
At this stage, I have us losing only three more games: against the Bulldogs, Port Adelaide and Geelong. Would be interesting to see what others come up with! _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Similar as my ladder.
Just have cats in spots 6-8 and saints in there as well 6-8
Crows to round the 8.
I think Pies can beat Dogs but i feel our losses will be the port game away and i guess cats if there is.
I feel that we may get close on a lose to Dees as well.
But that will be that.
I think we play Dees 2 more times this year and win on kings birthday and lose the return match.
Think Pies to play Port at the MCG week 1 finals in a home QF.
The other QF is Lions and Dees at the Gabba.
Saints and dogs in the elim and crows play cats in the other elim. |

Brisbane play Marvel very well but sh1thouse anywhere else outside the Gabba. Realistically as long as we finish top 2 and avoid a trip to the Gabba by winning first up is our perfect scenario. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

So ya reckon Geebung will still comfortably make the 8, do ya, Skids?
Some now reckon they'll miss. |

I do. They’re struggling with injury at the moment and obviously don’t have the depth they once did, but when that’s not the case they’re clearly still capable of matching it with top 4 sides. I think 5–8 is probably about right, but I doubt they'll do much damage from there.
Surprised you have the Suns in 6th, Skids – would have to think they'd need to win a minimum of 9–10 games in the second half of the year to get there! And what gives you the impression the Crows will fall off? _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

can not see suns making it skids.
yeah still got cats there to finish say 6th or 7th.
probably play out of dogs saints or crows.
i feel freo is a roughy to make it too and could squeeze out saints, cats or crows.
The top 4 i feel are set.
Pies have to play at the mcg week 1 and win.
Dont want a repeat of 2022 where we had to play an extra game then havig to travel interstate in week 3.
I have either Dees or Port as our opponents week 1`.
Again like most years it will be a mad scramble for spots 7 and 8 in those last rounds.
Freo it seams have come out of now where.
On the current ladder any team below sydney on the ladder can start to think about 2024. |

I just think the crows are over rated, very hot and cold, along with the saints and dogs.
On the other hand, Sun's are under rated. They beat Adelaide in Darwin this week, then have Carlton and Hawthorn. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

I guess it'll be interesting to see how that pans out. I'm tipping Adelaide in Darwin, and don't think it's out of the question for the Suns to drop one of the next two. But if they go 3–0, maybe I'll start believing. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Honestly can't see us dropping more than one game for the remainder of h&a season. Providing the list is mostly healthy _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

I was feeling vindicated early in the game, but in the end looks like you were right, Skids!
I still think Adelaide are a little stronger on balance, but they clearly struggle outside SA. As for Gold Coast, I can absolutely see them playing finals this year if they keep this up. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Melbourne one could be tough. Jordy likely out, last game before the bye, few players in WHE, Beau and maybe Ash carrying injuries. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

They put a clause in our footy tipping this week (and all bye weeks) for the $100 weekly prize. Not only get all tips correct, but also exact margin on Friday nights game. I'm sitting pretty with both, so far. Need GWS & Essendon to win today to get my 3rd $100 voucher for the season _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |
