Well it would have been nice to win by a lot more, but that’s how we play.We don’t have a killer instinct and we seem to go missing for large periods of games, and that’s what happened today.Still we won comfortably enough and we’re a game clear on top of the ladder,so you can’t complain about that, can you?
The only real downer was the injury to Sidey. That was just terrible luck to happen during his 300 th game.I hope it’s not too serious and he can get back playing asap. |

I get the rage, we didn't knock it out of the park, but I ask those who are angry about the effort today...do you want Collingwood playing its Grandfinal against North or West Coast? And showing the rest of the comp our cards in late may???
Feels like the team knew they had the measure of North...didn't really get out of second gear.
Still a far better effort then against North last year. _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

Comfortable win, Tick.
Sidey with a medial, not great, but he'll be back quickly, 2 weeks off should so it.
De Goey went into beast mode, great game.
We finally have a connection with midfield and forward and it functions beautifully. What a forward line mix, not sure how McStay fits back in.
Just love watching this team play. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

For his entire tenure as head coach the team has been a one or two quarter team. Yet we missed the GF last year by one kick and we are now one game clear racing towards the bye.
I have a hunch Fly has opinions about May/June champions and as we are all aware about the Cats peaking coming into the final series I think we all need to calm the FCK down. |

Good win.
Has the umps changed the interpretation of what constitutes a mark? |

Very enjoyable game, no stress. All I was missing was a cup of tea and some scones.
The last gasp 1-point wins get exciting, but its these games that extend our lives by a few years lol.
We did cruise, but we got the 4 points.
And BTW, the future even gets brighter. Hill was elite at times. Speed+, clean disposal, and spots a target. Silk. |

Exactly. We don't want to be playing our best football in May. We did what we needed to. |

Sidey will have a good rest and come back in better shape for the finals and granny. In the meantime, it will allow another youngster to have some taste of senior footy and develop. |

Playing the 17th team, without a coach, and half a team no one has ever heard of, north Melbourne supporters included. They were trying hard and chasing all day, and I reckon they cleared 95 per cent of centre bounces.
We need to improve a lot on today to go all the way. |

The big 3 quarter time lead forced North to play a very daring last quarter which was successful in that they scored 6 goals to 3.
If the game was closer, North would have stuck to their game plan and lost by 45-50 points. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |
