Has anyone received anything from the club regarding the "to come later" part of their promise to make it up to those people who didnt take refunds during the first season of covid?
Well we ended up with 2 years of covid effected seasons, and I'm sure that many people paid their memberships in full for those 2 seasons.
All I know is I have friends that support other clubs with a bunch of free stuff and I have a photocopied A5 thank you note from Bucks and Eddie.
Have we been forgotten about? Was the promise made by the former board and president? Shall I just frame my thank you note? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

I paid in full for 2020, didn't ask for a refund. Downgraded for 2021 but still paid a fair whack, in full.
I think I got some "thank you" trinket or something but nothing of any substance.
I'm likely to downgrade again for next year, I haven't been to a game since 2019 and to be honest don't miss going when I can watch it on TV. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I think my late Dad said: âask not what your football club can do for you but what you can do for your football clubâ
But itâs been a frigginâ expensive exercise. Not sure I can really afford it but rationalise it because I donât smoke, barely drink and have hardly gone out in the last few years. _________________ âI even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didnât keep âem under long enoughâ Kinky Friedman |

There was an email sent out signed as from Eddie in May 2020 to legends members saying those who committed would be recognised with an 'exclusive event' when the pandemic was over.
I'm sure many prob didn't care what was promised before committing and I prob would have done it regardless but this event was always in the back of my mind through lockdowns as something to look forward to when we got out.
I've been contacting the membership dept semi-regularly since March to find out if this would actually happen and just get told there's no info available.
Really enjoying the on-field turn around this year and the new players coming through but the treatment of members by the club sours it somewhat. |

We are 2 legends members and never asked for refund.
I never expect anything from the club.
I don't think they look after their members at al.
Very disappointing.
One thing I had suggested that could be sent out with our memberships was a couple of parking permits to make it easier for members to go to training. A simple thing. Its difficult these days getting to the ground for training.
Something extra added to our membership pack.
I also love see all the flags at the footy. Why not give people an option of a big flag to wave at the game. How good would that look!
That's just me..
But certainly , the club does not really reward their fans. _________________ 'MADE IT LEGENDARY' |

Membership packs across the AFL as a whole are horrible.
They lack innovation and any form of perks whatsoever. I pay $1000 a season for a seat at the footy, thatâs it.
Iâve been doing it for 20 years. Nothing has changed year on year. Same old boring stuff.
Even at the game, all of the carry on that happens at the breaksâŚ. I have zero interest in participating because the winners ALWAYS come from the bottom level where itâs easy for the person with the camera and microphone to film etc.
Iâm zero chance on the second level of the Ponny.
The little things, but they all add up. _________________ Beware the swooping Magpie. |

Stop being greedy! We kept our memberships during Covid to support our Club in these difficult times. Players and many others did it tough on reduced wages. To expect the Club to give you something in return for your donation is like seeking a gift for donating to the Royal Childrens Hospital Appeal. I am disgusted people would think to ask the Club to donate back to you for your membership donation during Covid. _________________ I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for. |
