Tough player but wasn’t going to be part of our next flag so did the best thing for his health and by the team and retired . Glad he is staying on as a coach and hope he can instil some mongrel in young players coming through. _________________ Go Pies...Premiers 2010 |

Thank you Levi Greenwood.
Another great servant to our club, robbed of being a premiership player by a maggot umpire in 2018.
Glad we poached you from pauperoos after Beams bailed on us in late 2014.
You played some epic shutdowns on Suckwood, and for that, we will always be grateful.

I love the breed of footballer that he was but head trauma has immense potential long term issues. I sincerely wish him well. _________________ no second chances |

He didn’t leave an ounce of courage off the football field. They breed them tough in Adelaide. Wonderful player for both North Melbourne and Collingwood. Hopefully the club can give a useful role to Greenwood because you don’t want to lose these players from the game. |

As hard as a cat's head, was the Pig. He was absolutely determined and committed and that's pretty much all you can ask from your troops week to week. He was one of my favourites for that reason - and because his tackles usually stuck!
Very best wishes for your future, LG. _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world, those that understand binary and those that don't. |

Well done Levi! He had to reinvent himself a number of times to stay in the system which he did.
I thought his 2019 season was one of his best playing predominately as a backman, (something i didn't think he could do). Cruelly struck down by a knee injury in the first final.
Loved that attack on the ball and those bone crunching tackles.
Thanks Levi! |

Fans love a player who gives al he can for the team
And at his own peril (as the medical retirement suggests)
Well with this bloke you certainly got it and I’m sad that you have medical issues
You could have been less vigorous and not had them but that wasn’t you
So thanks from all fans and may I say Nicksters one and all
Hope absolutely everything for your future is good _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Thank you Levis. You always gave your all and showed your teammates what true courage was all about. I hope the club can find a way to retain your services, to help develop our younger players. |

I have a feeling there will be some meaningful and momentous private farewells to be had for a coach (or two) and a number of players at season's end. |
Just watched it now. They can't speak more highly of his character.
