4 years is too long. Puts in big games against bottom 6 teams |
In any case he wants around 700k a year which is out of our league.. |

Our league is $80k a year... which leaves us with "100-year-old" Mumford ... and Goldsack. |

How about Narkle from the cats? In fact I think a few fringe cats should be ripe for the picking? _________________ Buon Giorno |

I would hope we would look at either Narkle, Constable and Clarke from the cats. |

They are the three likely ones. Clark looks set to go to Freo, but the other 2 we should definitely at least have a look at. Narkle is from WA but maybe he would just want to leave for better opportunity? He is more in form then Constable, but Constable is probably the more likely player to leave. _________________ "That was out-of-bounds" |

Prefer Narkle to Constable. Second time I think he's been dropped which surprises me. |

Was thinking the exact same thing today.
He'd come in and play 22 games for us next year.
Doesn't fill a huge need height-wise (182 cm). But at 23, he would be a good replacement as a small mid-fwd if JT was to leave. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

The other one of course that we have to talk about is Sam.
....Sam Weideman.
His value is dropping by the week. I think we can afford a trade and his wage.
The question is... do we still want a 195cm, 23 year old key forward? Well that's a yes. But is he capable of turning it around and reaching his potential? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

oh how far we have fallen. we are now targeting players who cant get a game at good teams. Remember when we were providing teams with those types of players....... _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

They just can't fit him in with Paddy, Duncan (though injured again now), Selwood, O'Connor, and co...
Clubs are often into players who do well against them. It's what they see first-hand. And Narkle feasted on Grundy's hit outs when we played Geebung... |

Narkle has played against Collingwood twice. He has managed a total of 6 clearances and 14 kicks across those 2 games. He has never managed a scoring shot or a goal assist against us. He has laid just one tackle against Collingwood in 2 attempts.
I'm not sure what you do with a midfielder who has been playing senior football for 4 seasons and never averaged more than 17 disposals per game in any season and kicks about 1 goal every 9 or 10 matches. Can you make jam out of them? |

What are you proposing? A Tom Langdon renaissance? _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

This is his competition at Collingwood:
Sier averages 12 kicks and 2 clearances
Thomas averages 13 kicks and 0.3 goals |

Clark injured his shoulder in the VFL. Could be serious. Seems to get joint injuries frequently.
"Clark is contracted to the end of 2022 with Geelong but as reported by AFL.com.au last week, Fremantle is expected to pursue Clark again at the end of this season after explore a trade for him last year." |
