At this early stage, I’m convinced that we will put up an awesome fight but fall short by about 14 - 20 points. If we played them 4 - 6 weeks ago, the losing margin would have been over 6 - 7 goals. Shows our improvement. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Good chance to win I reckon.
Dees looked a little flat last game. |

Taking ladder positions of both sides together with consistency of form
The Dee,s. But we will be in this game if we can play as close to 4 qtrs like 1 & 4 of the Crows match
Go into our shell mid game and yes it won’t be nice
Let’s show some positivity _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

A few things worry me about this game.
- We have been due a big loss considering how badly we have been playing
- We don’t seem to play well at the SCG (we love playing around the boundary).
- I also watched the Melbourne vs Brisbane game. That was a great game and played at a high skill level. Brisbane tried to out muscle them but Melbourne were too skillfull.
But hopefully we can continue our effort from this week and surprise Melbourne.
Also when do tickets go on sale and where? _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club

Going by basic logic.
Crows beat Demons, we beat crows.
Clearly we should win this game |

This is the classic example of Rock; Paper; Scissors
Crows beat Demons, Pies beat Crows, Demons beat Pies. This happens all too often. _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world, those that understand binary and those that don't. |

I see this as a positive. When we go corridor, good things happen and we actually score! We then spend long periods hugging the boundary like it's a safety blanket, thinking if we stuff up here, it's harder for the opposition to rebound and score...
The SCG, being narrower, could force us to be more direct... as long as we don't play it as if it's the MCG, and get lulled into a false sense of boundary security, it could work out well.
Hopefully our plan recognises the narrow ground and we play corridor footy all game. |

Anyone who says we need to play an attacking style of game with daring and flair against the Dees to have any chance of beating them will achieve the opposite- namely an annihilation. The only possible way of beating the Dees is to play an ultra defensive game of keepers off. The SCG being narrower than the MCG works to our advantage because it’s easier to defend. Won’t be a pretty game to watch but I’d rather a close one than a thrashing. Happy with a 2-3 goal loss which is the sort of comment which will annoy Buckley because he’ll go up there expecting to win. |

I noticed the Crows run and spread killed us on the weekend, and the Dees are probably the best team at using run and spread through the corridor, they sliced the lions apart through the middle.
This is the game where everyone needs to be accountable for their man, or the defensive structures need to be spot on.
Dees have multiple options for goal kickers, in fwds and mids.
This will be our biggest test. Gawn will most likely run riot...
Always want a win, but want a competitive effort. |

I can't see Lynch making a contest against Gawn.
Might be time to bring in Cox.
In: McCreery, Cox, C. Brown, Johnson
Out: Sier (inj), Lynch, Rantall, Madgen
Pies by 7 points. |
