That is terrible news. I have always loved Levi Greenwood. Courage epitomised. Hope he is OK. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

This is very tough news for Greenwood- sounds like he might need to step away from the game.
Tohill, Lynch and Sier will be back after injury which is great for the VFL squad. If Murphy and Roughead come in, at least two will need to be dropped to accomodate their return to the Firsts.
Ir Greenwood retires we will have three potential picks in the mid-season draft... _________________ Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away... |

Levi,s concussion stretches from 12 day protocol till now ,a 33 day time laps
He only has this year contracted to club
A sad way to end a career if in fact it’s ongoing issue _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Not so sure piedys. The way checkers feels about Cox and he’s absentee from first grade, I really don’t think he was close to a call up anytime soon. _________________ no second chances |

I'm more worried about Cox wearing ladies frame glasses than him getting hit in the throat. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Maybe Graham Wright's past relationship with him and his contract with Carlton concluding soon, means we could pursue him now. |
Yep, poach away; no rules against it.

Richmond and Brissy have clearly been ahead in recent years. It's absurd no other clubs poached their staff till this season.
But now... |

Destination Brisbane: the club that rebuilds wounded AFL stars

"The Lions actually have a fairly long injury list ... But only three of those players have soft tissue problems. And it’s in rehab where the Lions have really excelled.
... “That’s probably been one of our biggest selling points,” football manager Danny Daly says. “It means when we try to tell those stories to the player we’re trying to get, they know that we’re not bluffing."
...
The Lions suffered a blow in the off-season when head of strength and conditioning Selwyn Griffith was poached by Melbourne. But Griffith, over nine years, had already left a significant blueprint.
...
“We’re going to have clubs come after our staff, the same as our players. You replace them with good people and they fit into the system and you keep moving forward.”" |

Trey Ruscoe could be tested for a return this week. Jamie Elliott is almost ready and should be tested to return in the next 2 games.
Reef McInnes and Jeremy Howe are still some time away (At least 7 weeks each).
Levi Greenwood is a bit of a mystery, but has continued to show concussion symptoms.
AFL and Club reports should come tomorrow night for a clearer picture. |
Thanks Mate
Geez it will be nice to see Elliot back in the side. _________________ Bring Back Tranquilli |
