Glad you asked BazBoy
With Moore spearheading the new look Collingwood forward line, and Madgen with his tail up.
I would pull Madgen in and say, Mate, I need you to do a job on Kenedy! Wear him like a glove, make him hate you, stop him at all costs! If you do that for me, you earn your badge and I promise you a spot until season end. You become a automatic selection!
I see a bit of prime Lynden Dunn in Madgen...
with Roughead and Howe intercepting
Kelly as another option down the path
P.S
You were spot on about Greene on Quaynor! _________________ “You can’t head down to Smith St and buy confidence, can you? There’s no confidence shop.” |

Question
Who does McGovern play on? |
We have to find someone to play on him, not the other way around. We have to tag McGovern or he'll repel everything and we wont kick a goal. |
Moore can go to places McGovern can't. He is on another level. In the Air, on the Ground, or on the lead. Take your pick..
I could see Moore ripping up McGovern pretty bad, and putting the rest of the competition on notice!
All the while, we free up Cox and Degoey ( which could get them back to 2018 form ).
Bucks has the Ace up his sleeve, but the jacket is on his coaching chair... |
Lol...Moore looks good because no one is trying to spoil him marking the ball. The forward line is a completely different ball game. Moore will struggle up forward like all of our forwards because of the slow, inefficient delivery of the ball. |

Moore is the best CHB in the Competition because not only is he big, strong, fast and athletic, but he has a football brain.
Imagine what he could be if he had the chance to demand the ball!
The way Moore moves, perfect delivery is not required unlike Mason Cox who needs the ball placed above his head like a mistletoe

Ever wondered why it’s easier for players to find success down back. Moore, Howe.
What Moore does in the back line he won’t do with multiple defenders doing for the ball and players standing in the hole in front of him. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

In 2020 he dropped Stevo, Mayne and Broomhead... Sier and Roughy were also out, injured. Brought in Pendlebury, Moore, Elliott, WHE and Reid. Sounds pretty solid, right?
Melbourne thrashed us by 56 points _________________ https://forever.collingwoodfc.com.au/sav-sinks-the-dockers/ |

The league has many players who can take intercept marks in the backline. Why hasn't any coach thought...."I will put that player up forward and they will magically become a marking and goal kicking machine".
Because intercept marks are far easier than marking the football in the forward line. Moore takes many one-on-one marks. How many one-on-one opportunities do players get In the forward line? Very few. |

Sorry mate but I am really starting to doubt your football knowledge
So does that mean that Mason Cox could be the best Intercept mark in the competition if we drop him back?
Your talking about Moore ( a natural fwd who wants to play fwd, but its against Buckleys wishes )
"Moore can only take 1 on 1 marks" you said, GET OUT OF HERE _________________ “You can’t head down to Smith St and buy confidence, can you? There’s no confidence shop.” |

You can't quote someone and mis-quote them at the same time.
I said "Moore takes many one-on-one marks."
Buckley has done many thinks badly, but making Moore an AA is one of the good things he has done. Recognising his body struggled with the demands of a forward, Moore was shifted down back and excelled. |

Lol, sorry Mate I misread that.
In the time Moore became an AA CHB, He most likely missed out on having his breakout year as a fwd.
Moore was kicking 25 goals a year as a 21-22 year old, with that much potential in him, He could have had a breakout year in the next season or 2 and rapidly jumped up to 50-70 goals like most other elite key forwards do.
I actually believe Moore could potentially score more goals than Cox and Mihocek combined..
Question What'sinaname?
Who do you believe is the better marking option? Cox or Mihocek or Moore? _________________ “You can’t head down to Smith St and buy confidence, can you? There’s no confidence shop.” |

Lets take a trip down Memory Lane
Rd 17 , 2015
Darcy Moore: 4 marks, 9 disposals, 3 tackles, 5 goals
^
20 year old kid, in his 3rd game
He doesn't need to take all the marks He is taking down back to be effective up forward.
Lance Franklin is actually just an average marker, yet he dominated the competition for years... _________________ “You can’t head down to Smith St and buy confidence, can you? There’s no confidence shop.” |

However sitting at 1-3, and being embarressed by Geelong in our last final.
Playing Moore as a CHB seems to be the recipe for Success _________________ “You can’t head down to Smith St and buy confidence, can you? There’s no confidence shop.” |
