oh God, thats a best forgotten memory - we are netballers, put together a basketball team, played over against the ferals in Collingwood, i was dating the coach, 2 seasons didnt get close a win, 2nd last game and we were doing well, after half time i stole the ball out of the centre and took off down the court, and i left everyone standing....well i thought i did! first time i ever scored a layup... yes for them! the game was a draw, and the ride home with the coach was very quiet!! it didnt last long after that!! |
You couldn't get it turned into a rushed behind?
Can you believe it? Tarni Brown did the same thing for Collingwood AFLW today! |
Brown also kicked the winning goal.
So all's well that ends well. |

A belated 'bump' for 2022 (see the OP for what 'whipping boy' means).
Looking at the Game Day thread vs Eagles there seems to be a few Pies contenders for 2022 whipping boys. Perhaps too many.
Carry on.

The clear front runner on Nicks this year is Madgen, followed closely by Noble (I don't know why), Cameron/Cox (changes from week to week) and WHE.
I suspect Callum Brown will cement a spot in this illustrious list very soon. |

Noble and Magden try there guts out just there errors are always very costly
WHE shouldn’t be playing he isn’t impacting games at all
Sidey hasn’t played a good game against west coast since 2016
They have had his measure for whatever reason |

Seems John Noble is a hot contender for the Jarryd Blair Memorial Whipping Boy Award. But the poor bugger got omitted this week. How can we choose whipping boys if the best ones don't play? |
