Another one - no longer ours -
Star Western Bulldogs recruit Adam Treloar is “being managed” due to ongoing calf tightness over the last fortnight.
The Bulldogs confirmed in a statement on Monday afternoon that the gun midfielder would have his training loads scaled back. |

De Goey - Has returned from his abdominal strain and has returned to training today. T. Brown and Howe have also taken part in recent training drills. I believe both missed last weeks intra-club hit out, but are both well on track for round 1. We should start to see more of Howe taking part in the lead-up to round 1. ✓✓✓
Adams - Is still a chance for round 1 after a minor hamstring strain last Tuesday. We'll have to wait and see. (Reports suggest up to 4 weeks out).
Keane - Is still up to 7 weeks away with a finger injury. Has been taking part in running drills and keeping fit.
Just waiting for some official word on McInnes and Kelly. Has anyone seen them at training?
W Kelly - Calf. (Did not play in last weeks hit out. Nothing being reported).
McInnes - Finger. (Had scans 2 weeks ago now, but nothing has been reported). _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

After last nights intra-club hit out, there's some good news. All of De Goey, Howe, T Brown and Kelly played and are all in selection frame for the practice match against the Cats in 6 days time.
Unofficially:
Adams - Is still a chance for round 1 after a minor hamstring strain on the 9th. We'll have to wait and see. (Reports suggest up to 4 weeks out, which makes it a close call for round 1). I wouldn't rush him back.
Keane - Is still up to 6-7 weeks away with a finger injury. Has been taking part in running drills and keeping fit.
McInnes - Finger. (Had scans almost 3 weeks ago now, but nothing has been reported). He's now the only question mark. Has anyone seen him at training? I'm sure he's still keeping fit like Keane has been. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Ok...
De Goey rolled his ankle in the intra-club match on Friday. He was sent for scans yesterday morning. He's actually been cleared and channel 7 should be disgraced for making it seem like it was much worse. He may miss Friday’s scratch match with Geelong, but he's a-ok.

De Goey - Rolled Ankle. (Went for scans on Monday morning. May miss the practice match vs Geelong on Friday. But this is certainly not a long term injury and is extremely minor). |

Thank you Baz.
Here's the article.

Mayne will be ok, but has to sit out 2 weeks after the new (and sensible) rules around concussion.
It has put his round 1 in some doubt, but it won't go further than that.

No major issues from the practice match in Geelong. Thats good news.
However, there were some very minor worries.
Scott Pendlebury left the game at 3QT and had ice applied behind his left knee. This may have been planned, but he did get a knock on the leg.
Brodie Mihocek left the game halfway through the last quarter after a lower leg knock. He finished the game on the bench as a precaution.
Both players have pulled up ok, but may have a quiet approach at training this coming week, we'll have to wait and see. But no major concerns and should play against Richmond.
Adams, Mayne and De Goey didnt play in the hit out, but are all expected to push for round 1. Keane and McInnes also didnt play, but are going to be missing a little bit longer (up to 6 weeks). _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Hmm thats interesting. SC = HS. HS = Guessing Journos?
We'll see if anything comes our of training reports tomorrow. But my mail is that he will miss the practice match as a precautionary, but will be available for selection in round 1. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Taylor Adams seen moving and running freely at training this afternoon. I'd still not want to see him rushed back. A sneaky chance to play against Richmond, but I think he and the club would be eying off round 1. But even then, another week might be a good idea.
Just waiting on news/vision of Mayne and De Goey. And to see what Pendlebury and Mihocek did today, as both players had very minor leg issues against Geelong.
Keane and McInnes are both able to run and keep fit, but will not be in the selection frame for a little over a month. (Still waiting on official word on McInnes tho).

Adams - Hamstring. (Is still a big chance for round 1 after a minor hamstring strain on the 9th of Feb. Had scans yesterday to see how his recovery is going. We'll have to wait and see, but positive signs from training today).
Keane - Finger. (Is still up to 5-6 weeks away. Has been taking part in running drills and keeping fit).
McInnes - Finger. (Had scans over a month ago now, but nothing has been made official. He hasn't been seen in full training drills. One can only assume he's in the same boat at Keane).
Mayne - Concussion. (Will be ok. Currently in the middle of his 2 week omission due to the new concussion rule. Was having a fantastic pre-season until the head knock. Could still play round 1).
De Goey - Rolled Ankle. (Scans last Monday revealed a very minor issue. Missed the practice match vs Geelong on Friday. Probably wont play Vs Richmond, just waiting on news from todays training). |

No doubt but the footage on channel 10 news would suggest otherwise.
When it’s your main training session and you leave the ground after your second run through and don’t reappear, that usually means something hasn’t gone to plan.
Still, if he proves to be the only player from our best 22 who is missing in round one, I would take that any day. |
