^ Yeh its going to take time, and patience, and a bit of hurt along the journey, as we wait for the kids to come good and a new Magpie era. Just enjoy the ride, its going to be bumpy and bit of joy too. As my late ol Aunty Edna used to say, -she was very religious- " Blessed is they who dont expect much, for they wont be disappointed. ". Naturally, she barracked for the Magpies.! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Yes, OK, enjoy the ride. But remember why the bumps are so violent. Colossal incompetence in managing our list. Shameful behaviour in ejecting high quality players due to our own incompetence.

Agree but we can’t remain being stuck in the mud dude. Need to build a bridge and let the water run. We need to get on with supporting Collingwood instead of wallowing in past mistakes and errors of judgment. The club needs to learn from past mistakes, not pretend they never happened. |

If Bucks goes at the end of the year Collingwood could get on the front foot and be the first VFL/AFL club to appoint an Aboriginal senior coach. Can anyone think of any potential candidates? _________________ The beatings will continue until moral improves. |

It won’t happen.
Not any with enough experience.
Chance Bateman, Xavier Clarke, Roger Hayden. All way down the pecking order.
We appointed one unqualified coach because he was a favourite son.
We can’t appoint another one with the main reasons being tokenism and virtue signalling. |

Ha ha, yes, dear ol Aunty Edna, she once owned nearly a quarter of Eltham, but solid it far too early, early 1960s, so no great profit there, she lived till 96, sharp as a bloody tack. ! As for Eddie, well, surely he can sit next too YOU, you both can share your hidden hip flask of Jimmy Beam, as you both barrack like hell for the Maggies, hey ? _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Should we try and get the best of the three over to the club as an assistant, as part of implementing the report's recommendations? _________________ The beatings will continue until moral improves. |

Why would the club follow a recommendation from two academics from NSW who probably know nothing about coaching AFL football? I would be very disappointed if a legitimate appointment missed out because of a quota. |
