I feel Pendlebury is our best player since playing for Collingwood dearly love Pendlebury to win another premiership medal he’s earned it too |
That would be a brilliant outcome. Please footy Gods let it happen. |

Was it causal or correlational? |
Causal, getting rid of the dead wood and getting in better players. Tarrant was too much a party boy to give a shit about being successful. After Tarrant left, Didak and Shaw had their massive awakening in following seasons and then things finally clicked. |
So why did we bring him back then? |
That’s the $million question. Cost us a flag. |
Malthouse cost us the flag by not moving the injured Reid off Hawkins. _________________ Four legged animals good, two legged animals better |

It wasn't a great choice by Malthouse, and I'm certainly not excusing him for his poor display that day BUT a lot of things cost us the flag that year, most of which were already well in play before that fateful day.
I most certainly look back on it as one of the years we truly should have finished premiers over other years where we were clearly the 2nd best team of the year and fell short at the last hurdle. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

Do we think its possible for pendles to win his second premiership medal or has Collingwood been buggerising around far too much over the many years (since 2012) and Pendles would have run out of time and has to retire.
If he wins it we need to win our 16th flag this year 2021 or 2022 at the latest. |

Other sides (e.g. Richmond, Geelong) are way ahead of us as of this time, I think...
We could get there in two or three years IMHO but most things would have to go right - with young players coming through, experienced players playing well and not getting injured, and also discovery of special talent as we have about 10+ players with good potential, surprise free agent coming to us in the future?...and lots of luck.
Will Pendles still be around? I hope so. _________________ Think MAGPIES...winning the Flag this year! |

Cannot split it between Buckley, Swan and Pendlebury.
I'm also very fond of Checkers. Loved watching him since his debut. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

I still can't believe we didn't win the flag in 2011 after improving our dominant 2010 team with the inclusion of Krakouer and Tarrant. We stuffed up by laying down in the last H&A game against Geelong. That allowed them to take momentum into the finals and was a turning point for Tom Hawkins. I guess we did it because we had a few underdone players who we were trying to preserve for the finals but in hindsight it backfired. _________________ The beatings will continue until moral improves. |
