Nah, we should have nabbed Casboult. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Might be cheaper to find another tall defender and swing Darcy Moore down to full forward. |

One of my favourite non-Collingwood players, and among the best half-a-dozen forward targets in the competition. Wouldn’t get many years out of him – he’ll be 28 in November – but I wouldn’t say no! _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Was really good for a few seasons, but that seems to me that his best footy is behind him. I am not sure he would be the best option. Too similar to Mason. Not sure BB could provide support in the ruck if needed.
Would love to think we're pushing very hard to land Jeremy Cameron. |

Open minded about him.
Runner up in the Coleman last year with 60 odd in a perennially ordinary team with an even worse mid field ( he finished second to Cameron )
He also managed a bag of 10 last year and that’s not going to ever happen with Cox.
Whatever he is at the Kangas, he would be a better player at Collingwood.
Also has the yips this year but that can change overnight.
While you remain in the window, you’re obliged to consider these proven KPFs.
Certainly a better full forward than Cox but Cox has him for his 10 mins of ruck relief.
If it happened, I wouldn’t be “ disappointed “ |

I think I was in the "grab Jenkins for less" crowd, at trade time last year.
Hope he's enjoying semi retirement at Geelong.
But yeah certainly grab Brown if he gets floated, this year or next, but I doubt he will be. And I wouldn't pay more than a 2nd rounder for him anyhoo. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

If Mason regresses, I think we'd have to look at Brown as an option. He'd certainly be a huge focal point for us. |

No thanks |
He’s playing in one of the bottom 4 teams in the comp. missing a bunch of players, with horrible delivery, in a shortened, highly defensive game this year.
If he’s available, GRAB HIM. _________________ Est. 2002 |

He’s a free agent I think. Wouldn’t cost us anything. _________________ Four legged animals good, two legged animals better |

It's a great notion to think the runner up in last years Coleman, a key forward who can kick 60 a season and bag 10 in a game could come to us in a position of need via free agency for nothing... the sad reality is though that it would be at the expense of player/s already on the list.
A key forward as such would need pretty decent money to sign... we already have to find dollars for Moore and DeGoey. The question should be, which 2 would you rather out of Ben Brown, Degoey and Moore?
Interesting footnote, I would love to hear commentary teams If B.Brown played in the same forwardline as C.Brown, with T.Brown delivering forward.
"Brown pushing into forward 50 to Brown, spoiled to Brown at his feet. Brown the goal!' |
