Nonsense. One is clinically insane, or at very least seriously disturbed, and the dysfunctional, chaotic, destructive, government he runs reflects that. The other is no worse than the average politician and a hell of a lot better than many. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

I hope you at least laughed at the Elephant Man joke before leaping into a serious response.
Anywho, they're both terrible, mate. Believe me. I follow this stuff. And lets not forget the Democrats have passed over 70% of Trump's bills. |

Compared to Trump, no-one is "terrible". (Not counting Brazil or Russia.) _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

Not for a long time but I remember liking it. It's the first film I saw Sam Elliott in. |

"...Donald Trump’s extraordinary character and outrageous behaviour “threaten the world’s health, economic security and social fabric” and were shaped by his “high-functioning sociopath” father during childhood, according to a bombshell book written by the president’s niece..."
Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man by Mary Trump will be published next Tuesday, 14 July. The Guardian obtained a copy. |
There's a few advance copies running around.
I might have a look but it's clearly a hatchet job.
Mary, the author, is Trumps neice, daughter of his older brother who died an alcoholic when she was 16.
She would have no direct knowledge of any of Donalds childhood or youth, but she writes about it. She supported Hillary in 2016 and it's notable that her and her brother took legal action against her Grandfather's will trying to get their fathers share of the estate.
Many people will believe every word as it will suport what they already believe. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

You might prefer this one then from the same comedian.
When Donald and Melania Trump went to Saudi Arabia and Melania saw how the women were treated there she applied for asylum. |

Not bad, but she's just ticking off the boxes in the pre nup.
I did smile at the Elephant man crack though. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Quote: | Because California is certifiably bankrupt and on the verge of total economic collapse, Newsom appears to have forged a backroom deal with the Chicoms that involves him handing over taxpayer dollars in exchange for political bailouts. These include keeping California artificially afloat, as well as Newsom in office, at least until China can get troops on the ground as part of a planned nationwide takeover. |
Here's the same story from a non–fake news site:
https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2020-04-20/gavin-newsom-n95-masks-byd-chinese-company-california-legislature
Quote: | Gov. Gavin Newsom‘s decision to spend almost $1 billion in taxpayer funds to buy protective masks drew national attention as an aggressive move by California to solve one of the most nagging problems of the coronavirus crisis.
[...]
Newsom, who has been praised for his efforts to slow the spread of the disease, bristled on Saturday at suggestions that his administration has been too slow to explain a deal that will cost California taxpayers 30% more than his January budget would spend on infectious disease prevention for an entire fiscal year.
[...]
Newsom and other top officials have described the gambit as straightforward: Leverage the state government’s purchasing power, backed up by a multibillion-dollar cash surplus, to buy 200 million masks a month. The masks would then be distributed to healthcare and emergency workers across California, a supply chain that would continue through the end of June.
Administration officials have said that each monthly shipment from BYD will contain 150 million N95 masks and 50 million surgical masks. |
If you're struggling to understand what exactly the controversy is here – beyond state politics budgetary matters that are probably of little interest to non-Californians – you have to keep in mind that, to the right-wing fake-news set, wearing masks to contain COVID-19 is a liberal conspiracy aimed at extending government control over the populace. So naturally a Democratic governor (!) signing a deal to get masks (!!) from a Chinese manufacturer (!!!) is like catnip to the paranoid right. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

If standards of conduct hadn't been forced down so low over the last 3 and a half years by his ever-more-tawdry displays of dumping his turds on democracy, you'd have reason to be surprised.
Now, we just expect this. |
