They mentioned the players wearuing balck armbands for long time trainer Colin Arnell. Colin played cricket ar East ringwood for a few years and that is where we met. He was a trainer your years . He was very good friends with Greg Phillips and when we played the first game against the Crows Col got us an invite into the after game function at Flippers Lighthouse hotek in Port Adelaide. Mate and I regurlarly spoke to Col and his son Craig over the fence during games.
He asked me to come down and do a trainers course so I could help out the under 18s, The club would pay the expenses. Thjey then promptly abolished the u19s so it died on the vine.
People like him make clubs. Vale mate. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |
