Currently the Perth Wildcats lead the Sydney Kings in the best of five, 2 games to 1.
But whats this....
I wonder if Sydney were up 2-1 and had the next home game, would they withdraw? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Or a third alternative - Perth wins. That's the official outcome. |

And the correct call.
They had a maximum of 2 games to play. Sydney pulled out. It's doubtful that Sydney could have forced a game 5, let alone win both games.
The NBL were ok to go ahead. The Wildcats were prepared and had played in Sydney and they were prepared to complete the series. The Kings were not.
Would they have pulled out if they had the series lead and the next home game? One win from the title? Extremely doubtful.
The 4th game would have been tonight. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |
