No key forward to think of yesterday—-Checkers had to have a shocker when we needed a strong body in forward line and the rest were conspicuous by their absence
OK Jordy may not have been a match winner but we needed something diff that what our forward line produced _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Forwards were not the problem as was the case in last year GF it was our star midfield group that got beaten. Can’t blame the forwards when there was no supply. We found the goals in the last qtr when our midfield got its hands on the ball, but what happened for the 50 mins before that.
Remember they were missing Cogniglio, Ward, Greene and Whitfield and we had nearly 100 hit outs.....still makes me angry. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Agree and that’s the rub as we had an advantage with a few of their prime movers out which sadly we did not utilise
Apart from the first quarter our forwards didn’t present
And after Jack Crisp continually drove the ball forward in qtr.1 he was held _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

We simply couldn't handle the wet ball the way they did. I guess high draft picks go high for a reason....... _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

JDG would not have been the difference. If you're looking for an excuse or answer then look no further than the midfield and the leadership group. The delivery going forward was rubbish, we were smashed in the centre and in the clearances despite winning the ruck contests. |

We severely lack KP forwards.
Sidey and Pendles being taggedreduced our midfield output which reduced the amount of clean ball going forward.
With no KPP's we rely on precision ball movement to our mid and small forwards, but when we're strangled and the forward 50 is congested, we're screwed.
Cox was a big poss for us as at least he keeps the opposition key backs accountable. Checkers battles hard but he's undersized for a KPP and Reid just doesn't have it anymore. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

And I agree that opportunity for forward’s were rare as hens teeth and an excuse —no that is plain as anyone can see our drive / first use from any restart was a poor excuse for what we have achieved in other games
Answer too hovers around that as well —despair can have one say things that are irrational
We have NO excuse if we don’t answer what was obvious _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

JDG would have been great in those conditions. He could have gone into the middle to help out with clearances and some of the bullocking that was needed.
His brand of forward work would have been better as well - he can take a grab and work the ground as well. He has that opportunistic streak in him as well which might have helped with a couple of tight passages of play.
Having said all of that GWS would also have been a lot better with Greene and Whitfield and Coniglio _________________ I think therefore I think - I think |

That’s footy. Both teams had significant outs.
DeGoey might have gone down in the first minute like Phil Davis.
There’s always ifs and buts in a close game but it just sucks when you’re on the wrong side of it. |

If Taylors poster went through we would be in a GF most likely. Close game, we werent that far off the pace.
Still proud of the effort but we may only have a couple years left for Pendles to get another cup.
I reckon another tall hungry BIG MARKING key forward and a very quick skillful midfielder will help our cause next year. _________________ Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero. |

Yeah Thomas goal was a head scratcher and GWS deserved the win.
My big whinge was why Varcoe never got a sniff. Would rather Varcoe instead of Noble. Varcoe had the experience and x factor that could have changed the game. The way he attacks the contest is like no one else.
Anyway I cant go breaking anymore remotes because i have none left. _________________ Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero. |
