Post subject: Forward Line for Home and Away | |
|
What are your thoughts about refining the forward line in light of Stevoβs suspension?
David King wrote yesterday that JDG and Stevo were a point of difference which we have now lost. I also heard separately that Stevo is third for F50 groundball gets (Cats have four in the top 10) so he is a big loss.
I think Billy Elliott is a partial replacement but is not as good at forward half pressure as Stevo.
I suspect Daicos will be asked to play a high half forward role and get a high pressure act count. But we will lose a marking option with him as a small forward as opposed to mid sized Stevo.
This will be one of the big challenges for the coaching team. Personally, I think Stevo comes straight back in if we make the finals. _________________ Daicos, impossible angle ... Goal! |

WHE will play closer to goal and is a like for like player. This opens up a spot on the wing/half forward, which Daics would seem a great fit. |
