There's no African players on Eddie Betts team, they're all Indigenous. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Now they are going to put nicknames on the back of jumpers. As if somehow we do not know who Pendlebury and Dangerfield are. Aiming at 5-12 year olds which does not surprise. If you have names why bother with numbers. If we lose a player through injury to this rubbish I will spew. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |

I for one am actually looking forward to Friday Night. Why? Well I want to see what Team Deadly are capable of. From a very young age Ive loved watching the magic that the Indigenous boys produce. The flair, the dare, the unexplainable.
I think Team Deadly will have some great Chemistry and assume they will be electrifying to watch. Leaving us looking forward to the next time we are privileged to see another Indigenous All Star team in action. Shame Buddy is not involved though...
I always thought that if Aussie Rules never existed, Australia would be head and shoulders above Teams like England in the World Game. And some of our Indigenous boys would be some of the most expensive players money can buy for big clubs like Chelsea and Man Utd.
I guess we will never know... _________________ On the eve of a Dynasty |

Friday night when this crap is on, I'll be watching Kangaroo Jack: G'Day USA on NITV
When poachers kidnap Jackie Legs from the Australian outback, his friends leap into action. Their attempts to save him route them back to the US, into the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas.
Sounds way more appealing to me _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

What about Monty Python's Flying Circus on SBS Viceland? If they are a joke, at least it's intentional. |

Very good, Botty. Nicksters don't usually think they need to hear enough about anything to have an opinion on it. |

Names:
Pendlebury: Dippa
Sidebottom: Rusty
Varcoe: Trav
Stephenson: Stephenson
Anyone know why Pendlebury will wear “Dippa” on his back? _________________ Est. 2002 |

"The AFL has been offering free and discounted tickets for Friday night's stand-alone event at Marvel Stadium and has declined to release a crowd estimate.
...
The eight-a-side games will feature minimal contact, while players have been encouraged to engage in on-field banter and "express their personalities" by choosing their own pre-game outfits.
...
No injuries were reported during last year's tournament but AFL clubs remain wary of the concept."

Baum:
"Marvel Stadium is Australia’s version of the magic lands at the top of Enid Blyton’s Faraway Tree. Last week’s cricket BBL fantasy land has moved on, to be replaced by an enchanted realm called AFLX.
...
Is X for the international market, as we’re told, because it fits on a soccer pitch? But it occurs to us that there already is a code that is played on a soccer pitch, and it has built up quite a following of its own around the world, and if you give it a bit of time will probably do very well. It’s called soccer.
Is it specifically to expose the game in China? Um, do you think there’s much about the AFL that China doesn’t already know? Chances are there is a hacker or two in China who by now knows more about AFL than Leigh Matthews.
...
That looks and sounds very much like what economists would call “negative growth”. That looks and sounds very much like the AFL saying what it has never said before: we were, um, you know, wro… wron … "

Sadly, I'd rather watch AFLW than AFLX.
In fact, I'd watch WBBL if it was on. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |
