I am absolutely rapt for Mason Cox that he won the Neil Daniher medal for being best on the field.
But I actually think JDG was best afield. His stunning energy and forward drive out of the centre was the essential element in smashing Melbourne. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

Really rapt that both sides took the game on.
Hence the big scoreline.
Very little side ways or backwards movement by both teams.
We play better when we attack directly.
Such a change from the last few years |

Right now though, we look to have the better mid from that draft in JDG. His power in the midfield is what propelled us forward. Then others came into it later. |
He's been under utilised through the midfield this season IMO and that was at it's most obvious during the game against Richmond.
Hopefully the penny has finally dropped that he's midfielder first and a dangerous forward target second. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Agree. I don't think it was even close. Almost single handedly gave us the momentum early and was great for the entire first half.
Cox was very good, but second best to JDG today. _________________ Well done boys! |

What a fantastic performance! That's surely one of our best ever performances ever under Buckley.I think we've announced ourselves as a genuine contender now.Still a long way to go,but it's looking very promising. And how good was it to thump Melbourne on their special day? |

What a magnificent 4 quarter effort. I’d rate this a better win the the Adelaide game.
We absolutely shut the Demons down all over the ground and didn’t give them a inch.
I have been a bit critical of Crisp over the last couple of years for having all the attributes but being not taking the next step....we’ll i think Longmuir was the man with the key to unlock Crisps potential because he has been sensational all year.

It's amazing the transformation in the team this year.
I thought comparisons to Richmond's climb from 2016 also-rans to premiers at the start of the year was wildly optimistic.
Wrong!
I couldn't see a place in the top 22.....anywhere....for Mayne
Wrong!
I thought we'd struggle to kick goals this year.
Wrong!
I've got to say I am so happy to be wrong, wrong, wrong!
We look top 4 bound now in a season where the planets could be aligning for us.
Happy days! _________________ Hearing the 'Black & White Army' roar is the greatest sound in the world. |

Yeah but the consolation prize of watching Petracca in a Melbourne jumper is that he should really be playing for StKilda who were stupid enough to draft McCartain instead. And Melbourne are stupid for not drafting Olli Wines and also for giving up their no1 draft pick when Josh Kelly was available. |

Whatever the Aints throw at JDG will not be enough and they have very little trade value over the same pick we got him and that won't work. Just ask them for Jack Stevens and their next 2 first round picks and they will walk. Was very close between him and Yankee Doodle today but Cox kept our scoreboard ticking over. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |
