Post subject: Wells looking good in the VFL. | |
|
Watching the VFL and it is good to see Wells going strong.
What a magical kicker of the ball.
Sheer poetry to watch.
Should be back in the AFL very soon.
Lets hope he can string a number of games together.
First time in a long time I am liking what I see in both the AFL and VFL.
We seem to run and stun as some poster said this year.
Apt description. |

Yeah, Wells and Fas have been impressive.
Wells is such an amazing player. Would give anything for him to be fit and firing in the seniors. Would give anything X 1,000 to have a 25 year old version. _________________ Well done boys! |

Hope to see Wells and Fas come in for the Tigers game.
Fas would be an upgrade on Crocker and Wells an upgrade on Brown.
As others have noted, McLarty is looking good too.
It's great to have such depth. |

Fasolo and Wells are ready for Richmond.
McLarty and Daicos next in line depending on the availability of Moore, Adams, Elliott etc.
Sier and Wills on standby depending on our Anzac Day performance and injury status. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Watched the game. Liked Fasolo hitting the scoreboard plus applying forward pressure, which hasn’t been his strength. Daicos knows where to run to and finishes well. McLarty is very mobile for a big man and clearly taking a leaf out of Brodie’s book. Nathan Murphy, our 2nd pick on the draft is a Ben Reid clone. Same body shape and same kicking style. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

Was impressed with ruckman Lynch—19 yrs old and like Goliath
Apart from tap outs he got around and won his own ball frequently
Loved a centre bounce when he tapped ball then ran and gathered the ball
Grundy like I thought—oh and Grundy was in rooms encouraging troops according to Cambell Brown _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

I think Fas and Wells will play.
There is a cost to playing Wells though, less so with Fas but still a consideration and that is the lack of running capacity. It's absolutely essential to the modern game and our improvement in this area is key to our better performance.
The same concern exists for Sier and Wills. Big bodies but neither are great movers. Sier's done work on his fitness but I think more is needed before he can be considered as a legitimate AFL player.
Like a lot of what Daicos does. Needs to take the opportunity to learn from Wells as he has foot skills that are not a mile off Daniel's. _________________ Well done boys! |

Wells, Fasolo and Daicos will all play vs Richmond.
All a cut above.
Wells hit every target inside 50 lace out. A delight to watch live at the ground.
Fasolo and Daicos kicking sublime. _________________ Est. 2002 |
