The persuaders was also a great series. A life lived to the full like Lou, _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |

I watched The Saint with my late grandmother every episode through my childhood. I loved the theme music and the way Roger used to look up at his own halo. After that role, he was a certainty to be Bond. |

He was a huge animal lover and long time supporter of PETA UK.
Sir Roger didnt pull any punches when he talked about cruelty to animals:'' 'Sport hunting is a sickness, a perversion and a danger and should be recognised as such. People who get their amusement from hunting and killing defenceless animals can only be suffering from a mental disorder.

Had a great innings! Remember him for his role as James Bond which he portrayed in the 70s and 80s.
Sean Connery is still my favourite Bond, but Moore was still memorable in his own right. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

Yep Jezza I remember in high school going to the pictures and seeing my first ever James Bond movie, The Spy Who Loved Me, I thought it was the best thing ever! So rude! (Ok I was a nerd!) and falling in love with both Moore, and Carly simons nobody does it better!
In later years his fight for conservation and animal rights made me fall in love again, he was a cutie, 89, bloody good innings, and from what I've heard, his dancer fight was short. A blessing in itself.
RIP Roger, thanks for the memories xxx _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

I think The Spy Who Loved Me was the best Bond film in the Moore era. Many other Bond fans seem to think the same as well. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023
