His value to acquire is less than his potential value. He has had injury issues. Aish we picked up a Top 10 pick for a couple of second rounders. Is looking like a score.
We'll need a first rounder for this one, but not a top 10 pick. |

I believe we are interested in Tomilson & Hoskin-Elliiot, therefore Witts, Cloke, Williams, Brown and potentially Oxley are all important trades.
It seems that Brown & Daicos are rated between 35-60 so we should be ok to recruit them with a few 3rd/4th round picks. However, the GWS boys will require 4x 2nd rounders.
Can it be done? |

He has, or at least will...
Quote: | TALENTED defender Adam Tomlinson has ended speculation he would join teammate Caleb Marchbank in the GWS departure lounge by committing his future to the Giants.
Tomlinson has been in and out of the team for much of his five years at GWS, sparking concerns he would seek a move back to Melbourne.
But the 23-year-old has found top form late in the season to stake his spot for the Giants historic first final against the Swans at ANZ Stadium on Saturday.
Im definitely staying here, Tomlinson told The Daily Telegraph.
The club has shown a lot of faith in me by keeping me here last year. I had a rocky start to the year but its worked out. |

I find it a bit strange the love for this guy.
5 years in the system and he has done FA.
People are willing to off load Witts and more for this character.
Witts is a guy who we first put on a NSW scholarship in 2008.
Third biggest guy in the AFL and if he is going to dominate then next few years will be it!
People are talking about Aish and WTE together but Aish was a player who was running around the VFL for nearly half of this year.
He has played about 4 or 5 good games and to everyone he is a star.
I think Aish will be a good player but 4 or 5 games is not definitive.
Allen should have a good understanding of this character.
So I will leave it up to him.
But I really hope we don't pay overs. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

^^When you don't have a farm to sell these are the players you look for. Those who have the talent but haven't yet put it together for whatever reason. These are the deals that have the potential to be big wins if you get them right. _________________ Well done boys! |

I wouldn't be too quick to offload Witts. Dominating the VFL and I think we can work with Grundy together and give him more of a chop out in the ruck. Needs an extended run in the seniors. They tried Cox this year and had some moments but I believe Witts will be better.
Can see him dominating the ruck in the AFL in a few years and all Collingwood fans will be looking for blood if he is doing it for another team. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Absolutely. It'll be interesting to see if and how we can snare him. I reckon a lot rests with what we get for Witts. |
