Gws would be sitting at home with a giant boner over what they're seeing at collingwood right now because there's a top four pick coming their way courtesy of Nathan Buckley. |

WE got Treloar did we not, you have to give up something to get something. He had an average game today, true, but he was not robinson crusoe on that score. With our full list of senior guys back in, he will be a lot better, and be more consistent. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

True, but i'm sure they would have prefered to have retained Adam Treloar.
And i've no doubt Treloar feels the same. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

I might be going early but from what I've seen I'd put Aish in the pea hearted squib category. |

If Aish did his knee, we'd be better off
that said, if Buckley effed off, we'd be a decent team. |

That's part of the problem, not part of the answer, based on what I've seen. He's getting paid like he's one of the elite midfielders of the competition and on a 6-year contract. He looks just like the same player I expressed doubts about recruiting last year when the whispers started in the middle of the season. He's not a line-breaker with genuine speed - and that's what we needed. The problem with our midfield is that the best two players in it (Pendlebury and Sidebottom) are both as slow as coaches, so we need to have guys in the side who can do their defensive running for them. That's not meant as a criticism of either of them - but it does tell you quite a lot about what the other on-ballers need to be. |

Basing my assessment solely on what I've seen from him, I couldn't rate him that highly - I think you're marking him on potential rather than output. |

Like all of Hines picks of late, give him time... he'll rupture something for an extended lay-off. Dr.Death will see to it as well. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Cheers. First laugh I've had since I saw our selected team on Thursday night. |

I've never seen a 3rd year player who looks so far out of his depth as Aish.
The poor kid should go back to the SANFL and he'll probably do alright. He is not an AFL player. Why the f*ck did we give up 2 2nd round draft picks for a player who could not even get a senior game at the Lions? |

His last name is Aish.
Clubs fall for this bloodlines bullshit time and again. Hence Jason and Cameron Cloke, Brayden Shaw, Nathan Ablett, Jay Nagle, Tom Roach, Jonathon Robran etc etc. |
