Can we please keep the rupe at the Pies. It is not to late to apologise to him and give him a regular spot in the team.

He's 27. Can't improve any more. He is not going to get a game. Shut the book.

Why did they sign Leon Davis for two years when Rupert would have been much better to keep? Beats me..........

Davis was kept and Betheras shown the exit on the grounds that he was younger than Rupe, and they considered there was more scope for improvement and therefore senior selection.

Whether they got it right will be answered next season but I personally side with Cam in that Betheras was a known commodity with limited scope to progress. He may get game time elsewhere.

Why would we pick up Betheras in the Draft? we've already got rid of him that would just be a waste of a pick!

The team wants to go forward. Picking up an older player who has struggled to get a game this year would be a step backwards. Rupe has been a great player for us but his time has past. Let him go.
