That could be a very interesting way to do some manscaping if you're not very careful.
Barrel rolling downhill with a lawnmower could result in an unintended brazilian or circumcision or worse. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Why does my Foxtel keep effing up?
I've had it for about a month and have had to reboot it 2 twice.
2 daze ago it froze on 1 station and no amount of restarts could get it to respond.
Now when I try powering it down and back up I'm getting absolutely nothing.
I've looked on the Foxtel troubleshooting site and isn't telling me what to do (apart from replacing the batteries and checking my connection.
If anyone out there has had similar problems and has some advice I'd love to hear it! |

You got cable or satellite dish?
If dish, check where it's pointing and make sure no trees in the road, also check all the connections.
If all looks good, check here http://servicestatus.telstra.com/ to see if there's an outage. Rain can sometimes mess things up.
Other thing, you could just have a dodgy box and need a replacement. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I had a new satellite dish and new box put in a few weeks ago, no severe storms, connection seems fine but the screen is frozen.
Did several full system restarts but it's just gotten worse.
On the trouble shoot page it tell you everything except how to fix a no responsive screen.
My guess is the remote isn't functioning properly/barely at all or the box is rooted.

Why are crotch coverers in their various incarnations and styles referred to as a plural?
If you go shopping you buy a pair of:
Pants
Jeans
Trousers
Shorts
Underpants
Jocks
Briefs
Boxers
etc
But you only get one clothing item. How the **** is it a pair? And why?
A pair of socks you get 2, after the washing machine does it's thang, you'll have 1 sock.
A pair of gloves you get 2, each one called a glove.
If it's somehow related to having 2 legs, you don't get a pair of shirts, jumpers, jackets etc, you get one and it has 2 bloody arms in it.
OK, so you get a pair of spectacles or glasses but you can buy single ones, called a monocle. A pair of binoculars are 2 small telescopes bolted together, I get that.
But WTF would a "pant" be? One leg and half your crotch covered? _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

According to the great mind of Dr. Google, 'pant' is Welsh for 'hollow' (as in the noun sense of the word). I guess it makes sense then that 'pants' is referring to a pair of hollow sections. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Is it related to the Buckley's, the Hirds and the Voss's? _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

- Pants: there are two of them, one on each leg
- Jeans: there are two of them, one on each leg
- Trousers: there are two of them, one on each leg
- Shorts: there are two of them, one on each leg
- Underpants: they go under your pants
- Jocks: back-formation from shorts and pants? Nothing else makes sense, and even this explanation doesn't make a lot of .... sorry ... doesn't make a lot of sen. To make sense you need two.
