Even worse was Evans coming out today that Jay Schultz should have gone. Well fat load of good that is now after the event. He should have stepped in last week. Like Lazza said "are you playing collingwood next" yes - off, no - suspended. |

WTF. As much as I dislike ninthmond, two weeks for vickery is a joke.
You get tippet and buddy getting a week for blatant offenses and something as inconsequential as vickery's action gets 2 weeks! _________________ Go Pies! |

Exactly right!! Too late she cried...............
Where were these bastards with their comments before our game last week??
This shit against Collingwood is so frigging predictable and transparent these days.... _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine! |

Selwood chicken wing only 1 week!! FMD.
Mitchell's knee - a fine!! Wow.
Tippett tried to take the bloke's head off, 1 week!! Geeezus...
Yet......
Steven May executes a perfect side-on bump whilst contesting the ball only for his opponent to foolishly go head first - 3 weeks. Huh??
Vickery legitimately lays a shepherd that happens to accidentally collect an opponent high - 2 weeks.
The thought process behind these decisions are so skewed it's almost funny.
We're rubbing out blokes for legitimate football actions that accidentally hurt someone, but being lenient towards dirty thuggery.
C'mon Mark Evans - the word "intent" has to be written in to the tribunal/MRP guidelines ASAP. _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

The spectacle of Josh Gibson punching guys in the guts completely outside the play and being fined a trivial amount for doing so is deeply unedifying. I don't consider that committing acts that would amount to routine assault anywhere else should be within the realms of acceptable football, however "unsociable". |

I read somewhere that Michael Christian and Luke Ball are two of three on the MRP panel. No excuses for anti-Collingwood results. _________________ Four legged animals good, two legged animals better |

I agree. I was watching the game and posted this in the "How much longer will Hird last?" thread during the game:

I heard yesterday that the AFL thought the penalty was too light - they wanted 2 weeks - but they're not going to appeal. It looked like a 4 to 6 weeker to me - he intended the bump and, if he did bump, the only thing he was ever going to bump was the other boy's head. |

It's madness. How many weeks did Lloyd get at the end of his career? Much different? They don't know wtf they are doing. _________________ "The night is a very dark time for me" Chaz Michael Michaels |

Hodge getting just 2 weeks for such a Dog and Dangourse Act. Very Lucky is that Thug Hodge is. Should of got 4 Week at Least
Blair is even a Tad Lucky after hitting ? Head. Lucky the MRP being Nice this Week helps _________________ I am Da Man |
