Got 4 new tyres for the car today and installed some guttering on the front porch/verandah roof.
One of my rear tyres had somehow gone flat and I didn't notice (20 inch, low profile, not a lot of rubber to move) so when I did notice and reinflated it, the car suddenly drove like I was on a corrugated road. Once I took it off I could see that on the inside it had bubbled and had split in 3 places. Ungood. Trying to undo the wheel nuts with the stupid little piece of aluminium they give you as standard is ridiculous BTW.
So after putting on the travel spare, took it over to this place this morning http://www.magwheel.com.au/. Short walk to Northland. Was planning on getting the busted one replaced and the other back one so I had 2 back tyres the same, but the front ones were a bit worn down and barely legal after 60,000 km so I got 4 new ones. $885 later, car drives like mint. Kumho Ecsta K39, drives like it's on rails wet or dry.
Brunch at Norflands then pick up the car and buy some plastic guttering from Bunnings. I've never done guttering before, surprised how easy it was
So now the new front verandah roof is finished. Just got a few more bits to do there before moving inside. I have a bedroom I'm going to convert to an ensuite and walk in robe. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

4 x 20" at that price, that's a steal.
Yours are bigger than mine. The damaged car had new Pirelli P1's - 16" _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Me too Ken - gutsy effort that - I nearly cried when they equalised with 90 seconds to go!
Huge job well done Ange - there you go an Aussie in charge of the Aussie team does good - stick your imports where the sun doesn't shine - can we do it - yes we can!
Oh hang that's sounds like a septic - ah well fck that - go Aussies!!!!! _________________ “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” |

Must have been a ripping game - had to follow a text commentary. Got lots of Koreans to stir now, starting with this one right next to me _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Yes it was an excellent game PTID! Very gripping stuff!
Credit to South Korea for sending the game to extra time after a late equaliser but great to see the Aussies pull through and win!

Doesn't matter if it was soccer, footy or rugby.
Was good to see a team work hard - not just in this game, throughout the whole campaign - and get rewarded.
Players from both teams almost out on their feet by the end of extra time.
Apart from the injury to Robbie Kruse and the dumbfluck ref, it was a great game . _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

Watched Serena williams instead, man she's so powerful, and to come back time and again in all these years, 16 years since she won her first grand slam, now equal with Navratilova! 3 to catch Stefi and 4 for best ever! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

One of my designs was liked by a wrestler in Queensland, I was trying to design a shirt for their stable and I just made a mess around design and the guy liked it. He's saying if we can get the shirt designed he'd wear it to the events, my girlfriend knows someone that can make the shirts so it's going to be great.
It didn't look much like his nWo shirt idea, but still pretty good all the same. _________________ avg

Thanks.
I am hoping to get myself one printed up.
I think I have almost got my holiday in April, going to see the Pies/Crows game (I hope.) and also going to a function with Megan for the Dockers in Melbourne and then we're going to take a trip to Eden, New South Wales as well. Going to be great just the two of us. _________________ avg
