I went. Not impressed...Daicos didn't play, the major reason I went. It was wet, freezing, but the players did their best. Was a real amateur hour event. Carlton put on a terrible 'show'. PA system commentary was pedestrian at best, the decision to prevent anyone going onto the ground was bizarre considering you can do it at the VFL. The past players deserved better I thought. Best players for the Pies were Brodie Holland, Gavin Crosisca, Stephen Patterson, Jason Cloke, Leigh Brown, Simon Prestigiacomo, Mark Fraser and Damian Monkhorst.

Collingwood's goal kicking hasn't changed...kicked something like 15 behinds. Pies won by 3 or so goals.

Daic's said in the news during the week that he was only a remote chance to play. He's had 19 operations on his knees over the journey and doubted he'd be fit enough to play.

Wore 45, should have been a jockey. But he played more games than you did for the Pies so show some respect.

Matt Ryan was also one of our best.

Jarrod Witts was actually at the game as well. He was at the pre-game function, along with Peter McKenna and others. A giant of a man is Jarrod.

Dave

Matty Ryan was our rover before we got Tony Francis. if you checked the Collingwood v Swans game from 1988 you would probably see him in it. I'm sure i sent it to you, if not - lets make a deal!
