Michael Clark....why I gotta wonder. Collingwood like picking up guys they are going to have delist in a year or two's time with their last picks in the draft. He has some skill yeah, maybe they are thinking he`ll do a Winston Abraham or Peter Bell?!?!?
Also was the Trent Hotton Carlton Picked up the Trent Hotton who got booted from Collingwood for too many drunken indiscretions? If so I can't but help but laugh at Carlton stupidity and only hope they make more such decisions.
The Kangaroos picked up Spider Burton?!? HAHA stick that up your ass LARRY THE LOSER!
That was a real 'Champions' decision that one. Burton can't mark or move fast, only can win a few taps here and there, really a very limited player. |

re Nic Stone
According to the AFL page Nic stone of west coast was still listed, (had not been delisted) , and so our pick in the draft , must be another |

Nick Stone played for the Prahran Dragons this year under new assistant coach Brad Gotch. He played in the winning grand final side, after playing mostly school football duing the year.
He is athletic, probably similar to Tuckey. Unfortunately kicks like Tuckey too. He didn't look very good in the under 18 grand final, but Gotch must have seen something in him. |

Tent Hotten played in th ewinning eats burwwod side that beat Vermont. alan Richardson was captain coach. Daimen Houlihan also played. I watched it. I don't thing Trent Hotten looked that good. I would not be worried seeing him in an opposotion side.

dale baynes could be a surprise packet. he's already pretty well-built from the sound of things. who knows if he could beef up even more he could be that tough man we're looking for. all of these talls are gambles though. but they're gambles worth taking. |

On paper the draft appears to have addressed the lack of height although longer term another versatile ruckman/key position player wouldn't hurt given that Smith, Gardiner, Richardson aren't long term ruck prospects.
The influence of the 2 assistant coaches is obvious:
Broadbridge - Baynes, Davis, Clark - WA
Gotch - Stone - Prahran Dragons
Little bit hesitant about recruiting non-Victorians given the 2nd/3rd year homesick blues that seems to have become the trend.
Clemo - great rumour - it said nothing but promised everything - given we have committed to take O'Bree in December I can't see how we can actually recruit anyone of quality. Is this one dead yet?
Interesting to note we now have 2 Roccas, 2 Kinnears, 2 Davis' but unfortunately only 1 Buckley !
Go Pies !!!!!!
PS Go Blues - Trent Hotton - the poor man's Manton.
