Here are two young players out of contract we should get to add to our list. Both have the potential to be a quality senior players in the Black & White and add to our Depth.
Murphy shows versatility and Bartel shows some class.
Both the Cats & Dogs need tall key position players and we have a few fringe players who would make a welcome addition to their teams. |

How the hell can you suggest getting rid of Walker or Mckee.
Benny I can understand but the other two?
What ever you are smoking can you share it with the rest of us? |

Wouldnt risk losing Brownlow at this stage... he's too important, especially if either Fraser or Rocca fall over at any stage...
Walker looks as thought he's got a bit of potential. Ben kinnear would be the only one of those 3 i'd be willing to lose as part of a trade, and to be honest, the doggies or cats would laugh at that offer and move on.
Robert Murphy will be fantastic once he puts on a few Kg's, and Bartel, well, how many on-ballers do we need? Who's position in the side would they take?
I heard that Nathan Brown is signed, sealed and delivered to the bombers next season.... would explain why he had such a fantastic game against them on the weekend.... something to prove to prospective employers perhaps? _________________ Beware the swooping Magpie. |

You have to give something to get something I see those as expendable. As I said add to our Depth. Bucks, & Burns are not getting younger you have to look to the future. They are not going to take a small forward or running player in return. |

Culprit, you REALLY cant be serious about pissing off Walker? I said last season, give him two years and he will definitely make it. As far as I'm concerned, he is right on track to make my prediction come true. But I want it to happen at Collingwood please, not at any other dumb club. Just give him a fair go dude, be patient, he is still a kid but learning league footy very fast. He WILL be an assett to Collingwood. |

Don't get me wrong I was asked a question I put my answer in. The Cats & Dogs only require key position tall players. On our list which we may trade are those three. Throw in Richo which no one will want and that's about it.
Walker shows some talent, but if Murphy was involved in a deal with Walker I feel the club would take it. |

Its easy to look better in a team struggling than if you were in a top team i wonder how good they would look in our team....they might be good but i look at Des Headland for Freo he was pretty good for the Brisbane Lions but he doesnt look as good at Freo now .... _________________ My Local Footy Stats Site |

I agree about looking good in a crap team, he would still look good in ours. It's only wishfull thinking as I don't feel the dogs will let him go. |

Walker may not be that good at this stage but he has time on his side. Tall defenders are at a premium at the moment so i would not be trading him.
Jonathon Hay from the Dorks would be a good recruit. He has had a few injuries this year but he provides great rebound out of defence.

I would trade Walker in a heartbeat for Murphy.
Bartel not so sure though...
We still need height in the backline, but Walker is too slow and not very mobile at all. Remember that Tom Davidson and Guy Richards are still in the wings.
Walker is no where near as good as those two. Throw in Bo Nixon as well. |
