A 15 yo, driving a stolen SS Commodore, has been killed when he drove into a water tanker near Benalla, as reported on Ch10.

Too bad, so sad - NOT!

My sympathies go to the owner of the car.

Well, I sympathise with the family, while it's most certainly his own fault, it's hard to not sympathise with a family whose lost a loved one. As for the kid it s sad but at the end of the day he only has him self to blame.

I do sympathise for the family - the families of the injured truckies, the families of the police who had to clean up the mess, and the families of the ambo's, who really had the worst of it.

The parents of this kid - not even a second thought.

Call me callous, but it's the parents to blame for letting their child get to this stage. If they had've slapped him, and slapped him hard, long ago, this wouldn't have happened.

At least no innocent parties were hurt/killed.

Sad that some lessons are learnt the hard way.

Your probably right mate, but probably isn't definately he may of been the perfect kid at home, and behind his parent's back he was an absoloubte menace in which he has paid a great price.

Well, not really... considering that it's sort of hard to learn from your mistakes when you're dead.

In the end of the day, it IS sad, however you look at it. It's sad that the kid grew up in an environment where he was completely blind to concepts such as right or wrong, and that he had to pay the ultimate penalty for shocking stupidity (which of course, no other 15 year old has ever been guilty of.)

Gotta agree 100% on that one.

An incident that sticks in my mind was about 2 years ago when a young teen stole a car the cops perfomed their role of occupation, the kid was killed then apparently it was the police's fault for chasing him. For those who remember it the incident involving that arrgoant little smart arse teen on 60 minutes saying "come out and play copper". There were riots in the area for quite some time.

Bit hard to make a judgement on the parents like that without knowing any of the background

Not callous, just stupid for making such an ignorant comment. What 'stage' are you talking about? You don't know a thing about the kid's background or family relationship, yet are happy to criticize and blame his parents for not disciplining him.

And another in Adelaide, his own car, but put the lives of his mates in danger and crashed the car and killed himself. Started cause he was doing burnouts on a main road.

Oh boo hoo, cry me a river.

Also, learn how to post a quote. It's quite simple, even Dave The Man knows how to do it.

How's that Dale61? Now I've done my bit, how about you stop being a moron? Think you might struggle a bit more with that than I do with posting quotes.
