A 15 yo, driving a stolen SS Commodore, has been killed when he drove into a water tanker near Benalla, as reported on Ch10.
Too bad, so sad - NOT!
My sympathies go to the owner of the car. _________________ Whale

Well, I sympathise with the family, while it's most certainly his own fault, it's hard to not sympathise with a family whose lost a loved one. As for the kid it s sad but at the end of the day he only has him self to blame. _________________ The black & white jumper, worn by heroes worshipped by millions. |

I do sympathise for the family - the families of the injured truckies, the families of the police who had to clean up the mess, and the families of the ambo's, who really had the worst of it.
The parents of this kid - not even a second thought.
Call me callous, but it's the parents to blame for letting their child get to this stage. If they had've slapped him, and slapped him hard, long ago, this wouldn't have happened. _________________ Whale

At least no innocent parties were hurt/killed.
Sad that some lessons are learnt the hard way.

Well, not really... considering that it's sort of hard to learn from your mistakes when you're dead.
In the end of the day, it IS sad, however you look at it. It's sad that the kid grew up in an environment where he was completely blind to concepts such as right or wrong, and that he had to pay the ultimate penalty for shocking stupidity (which of course, no other 15 year old has ever been guilty of.) _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I am sick of these morons who break the law and are given sympathy and if the police chase them the cops are attacked for doing their jobs |

An incident that sticks in my mind was about 2 years ago when a young teen stole a car the cops perfomed their role of occupation, the kid was killed then apparently it was the police's fault for chasing him. For those who remember it the incident involving that arrgoant little smart arse teen on 60 minutes saying "come out and play copper". There were riots in the area for quite some time. _________________ The black & white jumper, worn by heroes worshipped by millions. |

Not callous, just stupid for making such an ignorant comment. What 'stage' are you talking about? You don't know a thing about the kid's background or family relationship, yet are happy to criticize and blame his parents for not disciplining him. |

Oh boo hoo, cry me a river.
Also, learn how to post a quote. It's quite simple, even Dave The Man knows how to do it. _________________ Whale

How's that Dale61? Now I've done my bit, how about you stop being a moron? Think you might struggle a bit more with that than I do with posting quotes. |
