Had this sent to me today:

Also - and this isn't me being snide, cold or trying to be witty - but Bush can hardly be referred to as a "great leader", unless that's simply a reference to his position.

I think it would refer to the position...leader of the free world as they say.

Don't forget this paragraph:

Mags, I can't believe you are so gullible to be influenced by any numerology. It's posssible to interpret numerology in so many countless ways (addition, subtraction, dates, times, longitude, latitudes, numbers of states, etc) that it renders all attempts completely meaningless.

As for Nostradamus, you can do the same thing with any horoscope. They claim to be predictive, but people can only see a fabricated relevance AFTER the fact by contorting events to fit the so-called prediction.

Besides which, the second quote mentioned is already calimed by Nostradamus afficionadoes to be prediction of the assassination of the Kennedy brothers. Proof positive only of the irrelevance of Nostradamus' poetic musings.

But if you want the general gist of it, that verse I posted originally WASN'T written by Nostradamus. It was written a hundred years later by some scholar to demonstrate how cryptic prose could be misinterpreted and fit into anything. However, it was later mistakenly adopted as to have been written by Nostradamus.

The first two lines of made-up quatrain starting in the year of the new millenium and nine months is adapted from an actual quatrain which reads:

In the year 1999 and seven months
From the sky will come the king of terror.
etc.

For the purpose of keeping dates us westerners rely on the Gregorian calendar. The calendar was calculated from the approximate year of the birth of JC (as we all know). The calendar was made up by the Gregorian monks (christian monks) and due to this a little known error has been intentionally made. The years 666 and 1666 are said to have been skipped due to the reference to the devils number. The latter year of course was aftr the death of nostro, and a question arises of how aware he was of the other being skipped. If his amazing powers of quatrain writing were naive to this then to him this year would be 1999! I can't reconcile the seven months however some people translate this to be simply September. The king of terror could be a direct link to Ossie Bin liner as he appears to be the undisputed world champion of terroism at the moment!
